Overview
This Refund Policy applies to purchases made directly on robella.app. It explains in which cases you can ask for your money back, how to do it and how cancellation works. It is part of our Terms of Use and should be read together with our Subscription & Billing Terms.
1. Situations Where We Issue Refunds
You can ask for a refund in any of the following cases:
- Duplicate charge — you were billed more than once for the same period.
- Charge after a timely cancellation — you cancelled on time, but a technical or processing error meant you were charged anyway.
- Paid features unavailable — a technical fault on our side kept you from using the features you paid for, and our support team was not able to fix it.
The request must concern a purchase made directly on our website and must reach us within 14 days of the charge in question.
2. What Is Not Refundable
Except where the law requires otherwise, we do not refund:
- a billing period that has already begun because the subscription was not cancelled in time;
- the unused part of a subscription period that is already under way;
- requests based on personal reasons that have nothing to do with a technical problem — for example, changing your mind or not using the Service;
- purchases made through the Apple App Store, Google Play or any other third-party platform — for those, please contact the platform directly.
In exceptional cases we may, at our sole discretion, look at a request that falls outside this Policy. Doing so once does not oblige us to do the same for future requests.
3. How to Request a Refund
Write to [email protected] with the subject line “Refund request” and include:
- the email address you used for the purchase;
- the date and the amount of the charge;
- how you paid (for example, bank card);
- a receipt or other proof of payment, if you have one;
- a brief explanation of what went wrong.
We will review your request and tell you by email whether it has been approved. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and are normally processed within up to 30 days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
4. Cancelling Instead of Refunding
If you simply do not want to be charged again, cancel your subscription in your account settings or by emailing [email protected]. Do it at least 24 hours before your trial or current billing period ends to avoid the next charge.
Once cancelled, your subscription stops renewing, and you can keep using Robella until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Residents of the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you live in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, the law gives you the right to withdraw from a contract for digital services within 14 days of concluding it, without having to give a reason.
By purchasing a subscription, you expressly ask us to start providing the Service right away and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends once the Service has been fully provided. If you withdraw within the 14-day period after the Service has started, you may receive a refund in proportion to the unused part of the period you paid for.
To use this right, send us a clear statement of your decision at [email protected] before the withdrawal period ends.
Residents of Certain U.S. States
If you live in California or Connecticut, you can cancel your purchase and receive a full refund of the amount paid at any time before midnight of the third business day after the transaction date.
